Lalji Mulji Transport Co operates out of Shed No. 135 on Road No. M/3 in the Gidc. Estate, Phase-i, Mehsana. Being in a transport hub like this means there is never a quiet moment. We have trucks coming in and going out at all hours of the day and night. The shed is where we handle all the logistics and keep track of where everything is supposed to be. Mehsana is a busy hub for moving goods, and we are right in the thick of it. The Gidc. Estate is huge, so you have to know your way around to find Road No. M/3. Our office space inside the shed is pretty basic, just some desks, chairs, and a lot of logbooks. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to drivers and making sure they know which route to take. It can be a bit stressful when a truck breaks down or the weather is bad, but that’s just the nature of the transport business. We’ve been doing this for a long time and we know how to handle the ups and downs. The floor of the shed is usually covered in shipping labels and bits of rope. It’s a hardworking environment and nobody here is afraid to get their hands dirty. We just keep the wheels turning and try to make sure everything gets to where it’s going without too much fuss. It is a busy life, but it suits us well enough.
