Dediyasan Ind. Estate Association

This is the office for the Dediyasan Ind. Estate Association, located at Plot No. H/1/A in Phase-Ii of the Gidc Estate here in Dediyasan. Unlike the factories around us, we don't manufacture goods. Instead, we look after the needs of the businesses in this part of the estate. It’s a lot of administrative stuff. People come in all day with complaints about the roads, the water supply, or the streetlights. We have a few desks and a lot of old ledgers and maps of the plots. The walls are covered with notices and circulars from the government. It’s a bit of a thankless job sometimes, but someone has to do it to keep the estate running smoothly. We spend a lot of time on the phone or meeting with officials. The office is right in the middle of Phase-Ii, so it’s easy for the factory owners to stop by. We have a small meeting room where we discuss things like security or the annual maintenance fees. It’s usually quite loud outside because of the nearby workshops. We’ve been in this building for years and the roof leaks a little when it rains hard, but we just put a bucket under it. It’s just how things are. We try our best to help everyone out with their daily problems.
