K. G. S. Mandal Developers Private Limited is located over in Harihar, specifically at 1st Main 2nd Cross in Neelkanth Nagar. If you know the Davanagere area, you know it’s got its own pace of life. We are mostly focused on development work here, which keeps us pretty busy from Monday to Saturday. The office isn't anything too big, just a practical space where we can meet and figure out the next steps for whatever building project is on the go. There’s usually a lot of dust from the sites, so we spend a fair bit of time cleaning our boots before stepping inside. Developing land in this part of Karnataka has its challenges, like dealing with the weather or making sure the labor shows up when they say they will. We have a small group of people working here who have been around for years. It’s not the kind of place where people wear suits every day. Most of us are in casual clothes because we might need to go out to a plot of land at a moment's notice. We keep our files organized in old cabinets and the tea kettle is almost always running in the back. It’s a straightforward way to run a business, focusing on the actual bricks and mortar rather than sitting in meetings all day. We like being part of the Neelkanth Nagar community and seeing the town change bit by bit with each project we finish.
