Davanagere And Chitradurga Organic Farmers Private Limited

We’ve been running things here at Door No.1516, over in the MCC B Block of Davangere for a while now. This area is mostly quiet but our office gets a lot of foot traffic from the farmers coming in from all around Davanagere and Chitradurga. We mostly deal with folks who are tired of using too many chemicals on their land and want to get back to how things used to be grown. It’s not easy work. Most days start early and end when the sun goes down. We spend a lot of time talking about soil quality and which crops are doing okay in the current heat. Sometimes the rain doesn’t come when it should, and that’s all anyone talks about for weeks. Our group is just a bunch of local people trying to keep the organic side of things going without making it too complicated. You won’t find any fancy suits here, just people with mud on their boots. We use the 10th Main and 5th Cross intersection as our landmark because it’s easy for everyone to find. The office itself is pretty basic, just some chairs and a lot of paperwork regarding the harvests. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us trying to make sure the organic farmers in this part of Karnataka have a place to coordinate. It’s a lot of manual work, phone calls, and ledger entries, honestly. We just try to get the job done.
