Even though the name says Bangalore, you will actually find us in Davangere at the Hayath Fathima Bi Manzil. We are situated on the 3rd Cross, 2nd Main, right at Door No 677/C. It is a proper local house that we have turned into our working space over the years. Pyarejan is usually around, making sure things are running okay and the bills are paid. Bhaghat Singh Nagar is a lively area. There is always noise from the street, kids playing or someone moving a scooter around the corner. Our office feels more like a home than a place of business. We have got some old computers and a lot of cables running along the floor that we keep meaning to tuck away. We try to keep things organized, but when it gets busy, papers end up everywhere. We have been here for a long time. People in the neighborhood know us by name and stop to chat. We do not have a big sign out front, just the house number and the daily routine of people coming in and out. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time or the energy to get it done. We are just a small group of people handling things for Vsnl from this corner of Davangere. It is simple, steady work. We do not go for the fancy stuff. We just make sure the local tasks are handled without any big drama or fuss.
