Tippuswamy & Co.

Tippuswamy & Co. is at 78 Krishnarajendra Road in Davangere. This road is one of the busier parts of the city, and we are right in the middle of it. Our building is a narrow one, and it’s been there for a long time. We handle a variety of business things here, mostly just office work and dealing with clients who walk in. It’s a bit of an old-fashioned setup with wooden desks and big cupboards full of files. The ceiling fan wobbles a bit when it’s on the highest setting, but it keeps us cool enough. Davangere is a lively place, and we get to see all the action from our front window. We don't have any fancy mission statements or big goals, we just open up in the morning and see what the day brings. Sometimes it’s very quiet and we just sit and talk, and other times it’s so busy we can barely keep up with the paperwork. The street noise is constant, with horns honking and people shouting, but we’ve grown used to it over the years. We aren't a big corporation with lots of branches, just this one spot on Krishnarajendra Road. Most of our regular customers are people from the nearby shops or locals who have been coming to us for years. It’s a simple, honest business and we plan on staying right here at number 78 for the foreseeable future. We keep our ledgers tidy and try to help anyone who comes through the door.
