Sri Ramacharan Rice Mill

Our mill, Sri Ramacharan Rice Mill, is situated over in the Kiadv Industrial Area in Antharasanahalli. You can find us at Building No 105-A in the 2nd Phase. It is a busy industrial zone, so there are always trucks moving and a lot of noise from the neighboring plants. We are used to it by now. The mill itself is a functional place. It isn't built for tours or anything like that; it's built to process rice. There is usually a bit of dust in the air and the smell of grain everywhere, which we've grown to like. We spend our days watching the machines and making sure the bags are filled correctly. It’s physical work and can get quite hot inside during the summer months. We don't have fancy office chairs or air conditioning in the main work area. Most of us have worked here for years and we know the machines inside out. We aren't a giant corporation with thousands of employees. We are just a local operation trying to do a good job with the grain we get. If you come by, you’ll likely see the trucks lining up or the staff moving pallets around. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living. We focus on getting the work done right and making sure the building stays in decent shape despite all the heavy activity.
