This branch of Shravya Speech And Hearing Clinic is located in Shimoga, specifically at R.C.R Associates on LLR Road. We are right across from Priyanka Hospital in the Br Extension area. It’s a good spot because people can find us easily if they are already going to the hospital across the street. LLR Road is one of those busy streets where there’s always something going on. The clinic itself is on the ground floor, which is handy for people who have trouble walking. We have a simple setup inside with a small reception desk and a couple of rooms for the hearing tests. It can get a bit dusty because of the road traffic, so we are always dusting the shelves. We have different machines for testing ears and some samples of hearing aids in a glass case. The staff here is mostly local people from Shimoga. We spend a lot of time talking to patients and trying to figure out what’s wrong with their hearing. Sometimes the hearing aid batteries run out and people just pop in to buy new ones. It’s a very practical sort of place. We don’t have any fancy decorations, just the things we need to do the job. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but we have the windows open when it’s not too noisy outside. It’s just a normal clinic on a normal street in the middle of town.
