You can find us at Shri. Durgamba Nilaya, right on Marikoppa Road in the Durgigudi Extension. Honnali is a decent-sized town in the Davanagere district, and we’ve been operating from this spot for a while now. It’s not a corporate office tower or anything like that. It feels more like a house because it basically is one. We use the rooms for our work desks and keeping all the project records organized. The street outside gets busy during the morning when everyone is heading to work or school, but it settles down by midday. Being in Karnataka, the afternoons get pretty warm, so the fans are always spinning in here. We handle various tasks for Npcil from this branch, mostly coordinating things and keeping track of the local requirements. There isn’t any fancy furniture here, just sturdy chairs and plenty of paper stacks. We drink a lot of coffee from the shop around the corner. Our team is small, just a few people who know the Marikoppa Road area inside and out. It’s a practical place to work. We don’t spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders. As long as the work gets done and we stay on top of the files, everyone is happy. It’s just how things are done in a place like Honnali. We’ve grown used to the rhythm of the neighborhood and the people who stop by to ask questions or drop off mail.
