Nandi Feeds

We run Nandi Feeds from a spot behind the DC office on Railway Parallel Road. The address is 285/4-d. Being right next to the railway tracks means we hear the trains going by all day, which you just get used to after a week or so. It’s a practical location for us because of the way the roads connect. We deal with animal feeds, so our space is often filled with the smell of grain and processed fodder. It’s not a place for fancy suits or polished floors. We wear clothes that we don't mind getting a bit of dust on. Most of our day is spent loading and unloading or checking the quality of the batches coming in. We keep a close eye on the stock because the animals depend on it. The office part is just a small corner with a desk and a couple of chairs where we handle the bills. We don't have a website with a lot of big promises. People around here know us by word of mouth or because they see our trucks. It is hard work, especially when the weather is hot, but it’s what we know how to do. We don't use any complicated systems, just old-fashioned ledgers and a lot of hard work. The neighbors are mostly other industrial or government offices, so we just blend into the background of the street.
