If you are heading down BH Road, you’ll find us sitting right at the 9th Mile Stone. It is a pretty distinct spot because the Bidare Bus Stop is exactly across from us. You see the blue and white buses pulling up all day long and people getting off to go about their business. Being out here means there is a bit more space than in the middle of the city. The building itself is large enough to handle everything we do here. Most of our day is spent walking the halls or checking in on things in different rooms. It can get a bit dusty from the road traffic sometimes, so we are always wiping down the windows. There is a lot of activity near the entrance because of the bus stop being right there. We get a mix of people coming by, some just asking for directions or checking the time. The morning sun hits the front of the hospital early. We have a routine that keeps us busy from the start of the shift until the end. It isn't a flashy place, just a big functional building meant for work. The hallways are long and painted a neutral shade. Outside, you can hear the sound of the vehicles passing on BH Road constantly. It's a familiar sound for all of us who work here. We just focus on what needs doing each day without making too much of a fuss.
