Magniferica Alphonso Mango Farm

Our farm is situated out in the Taralabalu Extension area, specifically along Hadadi Road in Pooluvapatti. We focus on Alphonso mangoes, which as anyone knows, take a lot of patience to grow right. The land in Nerupperuchal is where we spend most of our time, especially when the trees start to flower. It’s a seasonal life. Most of the year we are just pruning, fertilizing, and hoping the weather stays on our side. When the mangoes finally ripen, things get very busy very fast. We have to pick them at just the right time and get them ready for transport. Magniferica is not a massive commercial operation with hundreds of employees. It’s mostly just us and some local help during the picking season. We live and work on the land, so we see every stage of the fruit's growth. It can be stressful if the rains don't come or if a pest hits the crop, but that’s just how farming goes. We sell what we grow, and we try to keep the quality consistent year after year. People who want real Alphonsos usually find their way to us or we send the crates out to specific buyers we’ve known for a long time. It’s a simple life, mostly dictated by the sun and the seasons. We aren't looking to become some giant company, just to keep our trees healthy and produce good fruit. It is hard work but we are used to the routine by now.
