G R C Masala

Our place is at 6-2-1, Bharathi Street in Kadur. It is a small street and we have been here for a good amount of time. G R C Masala is just a small operation. We don't have a big factory or a lot of employees. It is mostly just the family and a couple of helpers. Bharathi Street is a bit narrow, so it is not the best for big vehicles, but we manage with our small carts and bikes. The building is an old one, with the kind of thick walls that stay cool even when it is hot outside. We have a simple sign out front so people know it is us. Most of the day is spent cleaning, grinding, and weighing out the spices. It is a lot of repetitive work, but we find it satisfying. The neighbors are nice, and we often chat with them during the slow hours of the afternoon. There isn't any fancy corporate stuff going on here. We don't use much technology besides the basic machines and a small scale. We write down our orders in a ledger book. It is the same way we have done it for years. Kadur is a nice place to work, even if it is a bit quiet compared to the big cities. We just keep our heads down and do our jobs until the day is done.
