Ambika Furniture

Our shop, Ambika Furniture, is in Davanagere. We are located on Ashoka Road. If you know the area, we are quite close to the Gandhi Circle, which is always busy. The address mentions being near Shanti Park Hotel, and it actually repeats that twice because that’s the main way people find us. It’s a big landmark in this part of town. The shop itself is full of wooden things. We have chairs stacked up and tables that take up a lot of room. There is always a bit of sawdust on the floor because we are constantly moving things around or doing small fixes. It’s not a polished showroom with bright lights. It’s more of a traditional store where you can see the grain of the wood. The street outside is loud with bells and engines. We spend most of our time talking to people who walk in looking for something sturdy for their homes. Sometimes we sit out front when the weather is nice. The building is older, and the doors creak a little. We don’t have a website or anything like that, just the physical shop on the road. People come by because they’ve seen us there for years. It’s a simple way of doing business. We show what we have, tell them the price, and that’s it. No fancy talk or marketing. Just furniture and a place to sit on Ashoka Road near the circle.
