Petrichor Construction Private Limited

Petrichor Construction Private Limited is based out of a place called Pipalkheda in the Mahwa area of Dausa. You can find us at Dhara Singh’s place, he is the son of Ummed Singh Gurjar. It is a very rural setting, which is nice because it is quiet most of the time. The name Petrichor is about that smell after it rains, which we get a lot of in the monsoon season here. The roads around Gagwana can be a bit bumpy, so we spend a lot of time in our old jeep getting from one spot to another. Our office is just a room with a fan and some old cabinets where we keep all the project files. We do a lot of work in and around Mahwa. It is not like the big city offices you see in Jaipur. Here, everyone knows each other by name. We sit outside sometimes when the weather is good to discuss the day’s tasks. There is always someone coming by to ask for advice on a wall or a roof they are putting up. We handle the local construction needs without making a big deal out of it. It is honest work and the days are usually long. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just find us by coming to the village and asking for Dhara Singh. It works out fine for us and the people we help.
