Bhagirath Birla Pradeep Birla

Our place is known as Joshi Ki Kothi. It’s an old name for an old spot that people recognize. Bhagirath Birla Pradeep Birla is the name on the papers for our business. It’s a family name and we stick to it. The building has a lot of history and you can see it in the thick walls and the heavy old doors. We don't have a modern office with glass walls or anything like that. We sit in rooms that have been around for a very long time. Joshi Ki Kothi is easy to find if you ask the locals around here because it’s a bit of a landmark. We do our business here every day, sitting at big wooden tables that have seen better days. It’s not a fast-paced environment. We like to take our time and talk to people properly. Sometimes the roof leaks a little when it rains really hard, but we just move the papers and keep going. We don't have a lot of fancy technology in the rooms. We still use a lot of paper and ink for our records. It’s a traditional way of doing things, and it works for us. Pradeep and Bhagirath are usually around if someone needs to talk. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall. We just believe in doing what we said we would do. It’s a quiet life at the Kothi, away from the rush of the city. We are proud of the name Birla.
