If you are driving down Shrimadhopur Road in Sikar, you’ll find the Ashambari Nidhi Limited office near the India Gate area in Kanchanpur. It’s a pretty well-known landmark around here. Our office is right there on the main route. We started this because we saw a need for a local place where people could deal with their small savings without having to travel too far. It’s mostly just a few of us working behind the counters. The building isn't anything special to look at, but it serves its purpose for the work we do. Sikar gets really hot in the summer, so we usually have the fans going full blast while we sort through the files. We talk to a lot of people every day, mostly locals from Kanchanpur or folks passing through on their way to the bigger markets. We don't use any complicated systems, just the standard way of keeping records. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we have to wait a bit to update everything, but we get it done eventually. It’s a straightforward operation. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy brochures. We just tell people where we are and what we do when they walk through the door. It’s about being part of the Shrimadhopur Road community and just being available when someone needs to drop off their installment or check a balance for their account.
