M. L. Trading

M. L. Trading is tucked away in Dattawadi, over in the Shirole taluka area. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a while now, and it suits what we do just fine. It’s mostly just a lot of lifting, moving boxes, and keeping track of what’s coming in and what’s going out. The space is filled with stacks of goods, and sometimes it’s hard to find a clear path through the middle of the floor. We don't spend much money on making the place look pretty because that doesn't help us get the crates loaded any faster. Most of the day is spent on the phone or talking to the drivers who pull up in the back. Shirole is a decent place to be, and being in Dattawadi means we are close enough to the main routes to keep things moving. We don't have a big staff, just a handful of us who know where everything is stored. If a lightbulb goes out, one of us just grabs a ladder and fixes it. We don't call a maintenance crew for stuff like that. It’s the kind of business where you wear old clothes because you know you’re going to get dirty at some point. We keep our ledgers by hand mostly, and we know our regulars by their first names. It’s simple, it’s a bit messy sometimes, but it’s how we live and work every day.
