We operate New All India Rd Lines Frelght Broker from our office near the bus stand on Hohmmdi Road Bawa in Lakhimpur. It is a very busy area because of all the buses and trucks passing through. We focus on freight brokerage, which basically means we spend our whole day connecting truck owners with people who have goods to move. It’s a noisy and dusty job, especially being so close to the bus stand, but we like the energy of it. My father was in this line of work before me, so it’s something I’ve grown up around. Our office is not fancy at all. It’s just a small space with piles of ledgers and a couple of phones that never seem to stop ringing. We don't use any complicated computer systems. We just rely on our notebooks and the relationships we’ve built with drivers over the years. Lakhimpur and the Khiri area are big for transport, so there is always work to be done. We don't make any big promises about being the largest or the fastest. We just do our best to make sure the loads get to where they are going without too much trouble. It is a lot of hard work and long hours, but it’s what we know how to do.
