We’ve been working out of the second floor of Sanat Trade Center for a while now. Most people know the spot because it’s right opposite Makhan Bhog on Sevoke Road, which is always busy with traffic and people grabbing snacks. Being here in Siliguri, we deal with a lot of people heading up to the hills or down to the plains. The office isn't anything fancy, just a place where we sit and sort out holiday plans. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and other times it's quiet enough to actually hear the traffic outside. We spend a lot of our morning just catching up on emails and checking if the cars and hotels are actually ready for the folks who booked with us. It's a lot of back and forth with local drivers and guesthouse owners. We don't really do the big fancy corporate stuff, just regular work to make sure trips go okay. Usually, one of us is running down to get tea while the other stays back to handle a walk-in. The Pani Tanki area is a good place to be because everything is close by. We’ve seen the shops around us change over the years, but we’re still here in the same building. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons but we manage. If you’re around Sevoke Road, you’ll see our sign. It's just us doing what we know how to do. We keep things grounded.
