Travelouge

Travelouge is our little office in Siliguri Bazar. We are located at Sharda Niwas on S P Mukherjee Road. If you are standing in front of the Hindi Balika Vidyapeeth, we are right opposite that school. Being in the bazaar area means it is always noisy and full of life outside our door. We deal with all sorts of travel requests. Some people want to go far away, and others just need a car to the airport or the station. We have a lot of walk-in customers because of the location. People are always passing by on their way to the market. We have a small desk where we do all the entries. It’s not a very big space, so it can get a bit crowded when a family comes in to plan a vacation. We use a lot of local knowledge to help people pick where to stay. We have lived in Siliguri for a long time, so we know which roads are good and which ones to avoid during the monsoon. We don't do much advertising. Most of the people who come here are regulars or heard about us from someone else in the neighborhood. We just focus on getting the details right for each trip. It’s a busy life here on S P Mukherjee Road, but we enjoy the work and seeing people get excited about their travels to the mountains or the plains.
