Out here on Sevoke Road, life at Relex Tour & Travel is usually quite fast. We are located in Loyar Bhanu Nagar, which is a busy part of Siliguri. Being near Sai Hospital helps people find us quite easily because everyone knows that landmark. We spend a lot of our time looking at maps and talking to drivers. The traffic on Sevoke Road can be a real headache sometimes, especially in the evenings when everyone is trying to get home. Our office isn't very big, but we have enough chairs for people to sit while we talk about their plans. We get a lot of travelers passing through because Siliguri is the gateway to so many places. It is an honest job. We handle the paperwork and the phone calls so people can just get on their way. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator, but that's just part of living here. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. Word of mouth is how most people find out about us. We’ve been in Loyar Bhanu Nagar for a while and we know the area well. It’s a practical business. We just help people get from one place to another without making a big fuss about it. The office stays open late most nights because that is when people are free to talk. It's just a normal place run by people who know the roads.
