Red Hill Travels

We’ve been here at Red Hill Travels on Hill Cart Road for a good while now. Siliguri is always moving, especially around here. You see the cars and the rickshaws going up and down the road all day long. It gets pretty noisy outside our door, but that is just how it is in this part of town. Most days are busy with people coming in to ask about trips or just checking on prices for things. We try to keep things simple. If someone wants to go somewhere, we look it up and see what we can find. It’s not fancy or anything. The shop is small, but it works for us. Living and working in Siliguri means you get used to the rain and the heat. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait a bit to get things done, but people around here are patient enough. Hill Cart Road is a landmark itself, so people usually don’t have a hard time finding where we are located. We just sit here, drink some tea, and handle the bookings as they come. There’s always someone stopping by to chat or ask for directions even if they aren’t buying a ticket. It is a local life. We know the neighbors and the other shopkeepers nearby. Everything is just straightforward. We don’t do big ads or anything like that. People just know we are here on the main road if they need help with their travel stuff.
