Kmbd Architect & Engineers Consortium is located on the second floor of the Geetanjali Complex. We’re on Sevoke Road in Siliguri, right above the Corporation Bank. Being on the second floor means we’re a little bit away from the street noise, which is good for the engineers and architects who work here. It’s a practical setup with plenty of desks and a lot of technical manuals lying around. We’ve got a mix of people doing the drawing and others handling the engineering side of things. It’s a bit of a consortium, like the name says, so we bring different skills together under one roof. We aren't trying to be the flashiest firm in town. We just focus on making sure the calculations are right and the plans are solid. Siliguri is growing fast, and we’ve been involved in quite a few projects around the city. Sometimes we’re out on-site in the mud, and other days we’re stuck in the office dealing with paperwork. It’s a balanced life. We don’t use a lot of big words to explain what we do. If a building needs to stand up and function well, that’s what we aim for. Our office can get a bit messy with rolls of blueprints, but we know where the important stuff is. It’s just a group of us working hard to get things built correctly for our clients in the local region.
