Hanoo

Hanoo is located on the second floor of the National Commerce House on Church Road. It’s a bit of an old building, and if the elevator is acting up, the stairs can be quite tiring in the Siliguri heat. Being in this 734001 area for a long time has made the place feel like home. Looking out over the street from the office windows, the traffic jams are always visible right below. Inside, the workspace is very regular, with desks, computers, and a lot of files piled up in the corners. A receptionist isn't part of the setup; usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up and says hello. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but the time never seems right to get it done. Days are mostly spent on the phone or typing away at the keyboards. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour, and everyone just sits and talks until the backup kicks in or the lights come back on. Compared to the street outside, it’s a quiet place. Things are kept simple here and nothing is ever too flashy. Other offices in the building are mostly quiet, so getting on with work is easy. Most shopkeepers on Church Road are known to us by name. It’s a decent place to work, even if the space gets a bit cramped when there is a lot of paperwork to deal with. Taking it day by day is how the office keeps running.
