Excellencia is tucked away in the Haider Para Market Complex on Parnami Mandir Road. If you know the Punjabi Para area in Siliguri, you probably know how busy it gets around the market. We have been operating this coaching centre from this same spot for a good number of years. The rooms are basic. We have got some whiteboards and enough benches for the kids who come after their school hours. It is usually quite a scramble in the afternoons when everyone arrives at once. We don't have any polished marketing materials or a big website with flashy photos. It is just a place where we try to help out with different subjects. Sometimes the market outside is so loud we have to shut the windows, even when it is hot. We just use simple English to explain things to the students. There is no corporate mission statement hanging on the wall. We just show up, teach the classes, and go home. We have seen a lot of students grow up and move on from here. The address is easy to find if you are familiar with the mandir. We are just one of many small businesses in this complex, trying to keep things moving. It is not always organized perfectly, and sometimes we run out of chalk or markers, but we get by. It’s just a normal, everyday part of the Punjabi Para neighborhood for us.
