Economic Hardware Store

If you are driving down Sevoke Road, you’ve probably seen our sign. It’s a busy area and parking is always a nightmare for our customers. We’ve got shelves packed with everything from tiny screws to big buckets of paint. It’s a bit of a maze inside, to be honest. I usually know where everything is, but sometimes even I have to go hunting for a specific pipe fitting. We spend most of the day climbing ladders or mixing colors for people. It’s not a fancy place with air conditioning. We have a couple of fans that just move the warm air around. People come in with broken parts and ask if we have a match. Usually, we do, but sometimes we have to tell them to try the place further down the road. We aren't trying to be a big chain store. We just want to help the locals get their houses fixed. The bell on the door rings all day long. My back usually aches by the time we close the shutters at night. We don't have a website or any of that stuff. We just stand behind the counter and talk to whoever walks in. It’s just a hardware store, plain and simple, doing what we’ve done for years. Sometimes the inventory gets a bit mixed up but we sort it out eventually. We take our tea breaks when the store gets quiet for a minute.
