Dalmia Travels

Dalmia Travels is located on Sevoke Road in Siliguri. We are quite close to Hotel Gateway, so that is a good landmark if you are looking for us. Sevoke Road is always crowded with traffic, as it’s a main way out towards the hills. We have our office here because it is convenient for travelers. We mostly focus on arranging vehicles for people. Whether it is a small car or a larger van, we try to find what is available. The office is a simple room with a few chairs and a table where we keep our logs. We don't have a big corporate team, just a couple of us who have been doing this for years. We spend our mornings calling drivers to see who is free and checking the weather reports for the mountain passes. It is a lot of coordination. Sometimes customers come in frustrated because of the traffic on Sevoke Road, so we offer them some water and sit down to talk about their plans. We don't use fancy brochures. We just tell people the facts about the routes and the prices. It is a straightforward business. We have seen the city change a lot over the years, but the travel business stays much the same. We just keep doing our part here near the hotel, helping people get to where they need to go in the region.
