I set up my workspace here in Shaktigarh, right by the bazar on Road No 7. It’s a lively spot, especially in the mornings when the market is in full swing. If you know where the Jubusangha Club is, you’ll find me easily enough. Siliguri is a big place, but this little corner feels very local. I’ve lived around here for years, so it made sense to start my business in the same neighborhood. The room I work out of is small, but it’s enough for what I do. I usually have the radio playing softly in the background. It keeps things from getting too quiet when I’m working alone. The bazar noise outside is constant—people shouting about vegetables, bikes honking—but I’ve grown used to it. It’s the sound of the neighborhood. I don’t have a fancy reception or anything like that. You just walk in. I try to keep things neat, but there are always piles of paper that seem to move around on their own. My neighbors are mostly shopkeepers and families who have been here for decades. Sometimes they stop by for a chat. It’s that kind of place. I don't use any big software or complicated systems, just a notebook and my computer. It's a humble way to work, but it suits me fine.
