We are located up here in New Chumta, Siliguri, right in the Darjeeling district. Most people know us as Sundas Brothers Infrastructure Private Limited. Our office is easy to find if you are familiar with the Dhakuria area. It isn't a fancy setup, just a practical place where we handle our daily work. Being in this part of West Bengal means dealing with the hills and the changing weather, which definitely keeps things interesting for an infrastructure company. We have been around for a bit, mostly focusing on the local needs of the community. There are a few of us here working on different projects at any given time. We don't really go for big speeches or polished presentations. We just show up and do what needs to be done. It’s a lot of coordination with workers and making sure materials arrive on time, which is harder than it looks with these roads. Sometimes the rain slows things down, but that's just how it is in Siliguri. People in the neighborhood know where to find us if they have questions about a project. We spend a lot of time on site rather than sitting behind desks all day. It’s noisy and dusty work most of the time, but it’s what we know. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just a reliable local one that knows the ground here in Darjeeling. New Chumta is a decent place to be based, and we like being part of the local scene.
