Our office is right across from the Baktinagar Police Station on Sevoke Road. If you know the area, you know the Mile Stone Building, and we are right there on the first floor at the Check Post. It is a very busy spot with a lot of cars and people moving around all day long. Being a developer in this part of town means you have to be ready for anything. We spend most of our mornings going through plans and checking on how things are going at different sites. The office is usually a bit messy with blueprints and folders scattered around, but we know where everything is. It’s a practical workspace, not one of those fancy glass offices you see in magazines. We drink a lot of coffee while we talk to contractors and suppliers. The area around the police station is always active, so there is plenty of noise, but we have gotten used to it over the years. We started this business because we wanted to be part of how the city grows. It is hard work and some days are longer than others. We don’t have a lot of staff, just a few people who have been with us for a long time. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the task at hand. If someone comes in to talk, we pull up a chair and listen. That is how we have always done things here.
