Mr Nirmal Garg

Mr Nirmal Garg is based near Siliguri Junction. We are right on Old Matigara Road at Gate Bazar. It is a busy junction area. There’s always something happening outside. Trains coming in and buses leaving. We have a small spot here. It’s not much to look at from the outside. The walls are a bit stained and the floor is worn down from people walking in and out. We’ve been in Siliguri for a long time. It’s a good place but it can get very muddy when it rains. Gate Bazar is always full of life. We don’t have a big team. It is just a few of us. We do things the old-fashioned way. We don't have a corporate office or a big budget for marketing. We just talk to people who come by. Sometimes we sit outside when it’s not too hot. We know most of the people who work in the nearby shops. It’s a close community. We don’t use any complicated systems. Just a notebook and a pen mostly. It is a very simple operation. We don’t have a mission statement or anything like that. We just wake up and do what needs to be done. The location is the main thing for us. Everyone passes through Siliguri Junction eventually. We are just a small part of the local scenery here. It isn't a fast life, but we stay busy enough with the locals and the passersby.
