Marc Hospital Project Siliguri

The Marc Hospital Project Siliguri is located out in Phoolbari, right near the truck terminal. If you know that area in Jalpaiguri, you know it’s a major hub for transport. Being near the terminal means we see a lot of activity from the drivers and the people working in the logistics sector. It’s a bit of a different environment than a city center hospital. Things are always moving, and there’s a lot of dust and noise from the trucks, but we’ve set up our space to be a reliable point for medical help. This project started with the idea of being accessible to this specific part of Siliguri. We aren't a finished, polished corporate entity; we are a project that is constantly working to meet the needs of the people here. Our staff is used to the rhythms of the truck terminal life. We have long shifts and sometimes things get a bit chaotic when many people show up at once. But we just handle it the best we can. We don't have fancy brochures or a PR person. We just have a building, some good equipment, and people who are willing to work hard. It’s a practical setup for a practical location. Most of us live nearby in Jalpaiguri, so we understand the local challenges. We just focus on getting people back on their feet and keeping the hospital running smoothly day after day. It is hard work but it feels right to be here.
