Jibon Pradip Foundation

Jibon Pradip Foundation is located in Hatisala, specifically in the Mahaldarpara area. Nur Ali Sekh is the person who looks after things here. It is a busy little neighborhood. We aren't tucked away in some high-rise. We are right on the ground where everything happens. The building we use is quite old and doesn't have any of those modern glass windows. It feels like a home because it mostly is. We spend our days dealing with whatever comes our way. People from Hatisala know where to find us if they have a bit of trouble or need some guidance. We don’t have a big staff with titles. We are just a few people who have lived here forever. Nur Ali usually has a pot of tea going for whoever stops by. It’s not a formal place at all. You can hear the sounds of the street and the kids playing while we work. We don't have a marketing budget or a strategy. We just show up and keep the office open. Some days are very quiet, and we just tidy up the files. Other days, the small room is full of people talking at once. It’s a bit messy and loud sometimes, but it’s real. We don’t try to act like we are some big charity from the city. We are just local people trying to help out in Mahaldarpara. That’s really all there is to it.
