Jha Clinic

Jha Clinic is situated right by the Matigara Bus Stand on Thana Road in Siliguri. Because we are so close to the bus stand, there is always the sound of engines and people shouting for passengers. It is a very lively area, to say the least. The clinic is in a building along the road that leads to the police station. It's a simple place with a waiting area that has some wooden benches for people who come from the nearby villages. The walls are painted a plain color and we have some old health posters tacked up here and there. Siliguri weather can be quite damp, so the place sometimes has that rainy smell during the monsoon months. We don't have a big staff, just enough to keep things moving. The doctor’s room is at the back, away from the main noise of the bus stand, though you can still hear the horns once in a while. People usually find us by looking for the Matigara Thana sign and then just heading towards the bus stop area. It’s not a fancy private hospital, just a local clinic where people come when they aren't feeling well. We see a lot of people passing through who are just waiting for their next bus. It’s a busy, functional spot in the middle of all the Matigara chaos. We just try to keep things orderly while the traffic buzzes outside.
