Janani Fashions

Being located near Airport More in Bagdogra keeps things interesting for us. Janani Fashions is right here in this part of Siliguri, and we get all sorts of people coming through. Some are locals from the neighborhood and others are just passing through on their way to the hills or the airport. We opened this place because we saw a need for decent clothes that don't cost a fortune. It's a regular shop, nothing too flashy or corporate. We spend our mornings setting up the racks and making sure everything looks okay. The humidity here can be a bit much sometimes, but we’re used to it. We carry a mix of different styles, mostly stuff that people around here actually want to wear in their daily lives. It's a family-run kind of thing, so you'll usually see the same faces when you come in. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just talk to our customers and see what they like. Sometimes we run out of certain sizes faster than we expect, which is a bit of a hassle to manage. But we try to restock when we can. It’s a busy spot near the airport, so there’s always something happening outside. We like being part of the community here. It’s not about being the most famous shop in West Bengal, just about having a place where people can find what they need without a lot of fuss.
