I Am Himalaya Tours And Travels is based in Kurseong, right near the I.T.I. on Tenzing Norgay Road. Living and working here in the hills is a bit different from the busy cities. Our office is a simple place where we sit and talk about travel routes and vehicle bookings. Being near the I.T.I. is a good landmark because everyone in Kurseong knows where that is. We spend our days answering the phone and talking to drivers or people looking to see the sights around here. Tenzing Norgay Road can get busy with local traffic, but it’s mostly just the usual mountain life pace. We don’t have a big fancy office with glass walls. It’s just a room with some maps on the wall and a couple of desks. We know these roads well because we live here. When someone comes in, we just tell them honestly about the weather or which roads are currently blocked. It’s a practical business. We’ve been helping people get around this part of the Himalaya for some time now. We aren't trying to be the biggest agency; we just want to make sure the cars are running and the guests know where they are going. If you’re walking past the I.T.I., you’ll see our sign. We are usually there from morning until late evening, depending on when the last tour gets back.
