Dooars Jute Textileprivate Limited

We are based over on K M Roy Chowdhury Road, at number 454. In this part of Kolkata, jute has always been a big deal. Our building is an old one, and it feels like it’s been here forever. Inside, it's mostly stacks of jute and the sound of the looms or whatever we're using that day. The air is always a bit thick with fibers. We don't really bother with fancy decorations. The walls are mostly covered in old calendars and clipboards. It’s a dusty job, and we all go home with it on our clothes. We have a handful of people who handle the textiles, and everyone knows their role. Usually, the day starts with checking the inventory. Jute is a heavy material to move around, so we get a good workout. The street outside is narrow, so getting trucks in and out can be a real headache. We’ve had to learn how to time it just right. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult, especially when the roof leaks a little in the corner. We just put a bucket under it and keep going. It’s not the most modern setup, but we’ve been doing this for a long time. It’s just us, the jute, and the daily grind in the city. We don't have a website that does much; we mostly just talk to people face to face. It keeps things simple and honest, which is how we like to operate.
