Chyajalo Private Limited

We are located up in Darjeeling, right below the Chowrasta area at Jawahar Busty. It is a bit of a walk down from the main square where all the tourists hang out. The office is at Shyam Subba’s place on TN Road in Ward 14. We have been working from here for a while now. It is a simple setup, nothing like those big corporate buildings you see in the cities. We have a couple of rooms where we keep our files and sit to do the daily work. Sometimes the mountain mist comes right into the doorway if we leave it open. The weather here can be a bit unpredictable, so we always keep an umbrella near the door. We do not have any big signs or bright lights. Most people find us because they know the neighborhood or someone told them where we are. We just go about our business every day. My nephew helps with some of the lifting and moving of stuff. We drink a lot of tea while we look over the papers. It is just the way things are done in these parts. We do not try to act like we are bigger than we are. We are just a local team trying to stay busy and get through the tasks we have. It is quiet for the most part, except for the birds and the occasional car passing by on the road above us.
