Up here in Siliguri, we’ve got our workspace set up in Mahananda Para. It’s on Nabin Sen Road in Ward Number 10. Being in this part of West Bengal is different from being in the big city of Kolkata. Things move a little differently here. We focus on vector work and branding, but we do it from a very modest office. The building is easy to find if you know the neighborhood, but it’s not some big landmark. We’ve got a couple of rooms where we keep our equipment. The air is a bit fresher here, though the monsoon rains can make the road outside a bit muddy. We don’t have a lot of fancy decorations on the walls. Mostly just some calendars and a few notes pinned up. We spend our days working on designs and making sure everything looks right on the screen. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. We usually walk to get some food nearby during our lunch break. There’s a lot of local energy on Nabin Sen Road, with people going about their business. We’re just one small part of that. We don't have any big corporate goals to talk about; we just want to do a decent job and stay busy. It’s a small team and we all know each other well, which makes the long hours feel a bit shorter. That’s really all there is to it.
