Bikkim Infrastructure Private Limited operates out of Siliguri, specifically at Flat 1D in Hill View Residency. We are in the Pradhanpara area, near the Salugara post office. Being in Darjeeling district gives us a bit of a different perspective than if we were down in the plains of Kolkata. The air is a little different up here. Our office is on the first floor, which is nice because we don't have to wait for an elevator. It is a pretty quiet residency, which is good for when we need to concentrate on our infrastructure plans. We have a small setup with just enough space for our team and all the files we seem to accumulate. We spend a lot of time traveling around the region to check on different sites. Siliguri is a major hub, so it is a good place for an infrastructure company to be based. We are close to the mountains but still have all the city amenities we need. Our office isn't anything fancy, just a place to get the work done. We have a small kitchen where we make a lot of tea and coffee to keep us going through the day. Most of the people working here are locals who know the area well. We don't use big words to describe what we do; we just focus on the projects at hand. It can get busy during the monsoon with road work, but that is part of the job.
