Our shop is at 44 Sevoke Road. If you know Siliguri, you know Panitanki More is always crowded with people and cars. We are right near the Clock Tower in Ward Number 10. It’s a good spot because everyone passes by eventually. We deal with all sorts of clothing. The building isn't brand new, but it works for what we need. Inside, the shelves are pretty full. We have to rearrange things constantly to make room for new stuff coming in. It’s a lot of lifting and moving boxes around. We aren't a big chain store. It’s an LLP, so it’s just a few of us running the show. Some days are slow, especially when it rains hard in the hills, but other days we don't even have time to sit down. The Clock Tower is a good landmark for people trying to find us. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just open the doors and get to work. The street noise is constant—horns honking and people shouting. You get used to it after a while. We keep a small stove in the back for making tea. Most of our regulars are local people from around the neighborhood. We try to keep the prices fair for everyone. It’s a simple business. No corporate fluff here. Just clothes and hard work on Sevoke Road. We’ve been here long enough that most the neighbors know our faces and stop to chat sometimes. It’s just how we run things.
