Vbss Foundation is based in the North Block of Singhwara, which is over in the Darbhanga district of Bihar. Our address is at Anjay Kumar’s place, and our zip code is 847123. It’s a pretty standard local office. We don't have any of those fancy modern features you might see in a big city firm. It’s just a plain building where we spend our hours working on whatever needs our attention. We have some desks, a few chairs that have seen better days, and plenty of paperwork to go around. Singhwara is a good place to be because we are right in the middle of our own community. Most of us have lived in Darbhanga our whole lives, so we don't need to put on any acts. We just speak plain English and get to the point. We don't have a big corporate mission statement or anything like that hanging on the wall. We just come in, do the work, and head home when we are done. Sometimes the weather gets really hot and the fans don't do much, but we just keep going anyway. It’s a modest way of operating, but it suits us just fine. We like being part of the North Block and seeing the familiar faces every day. There’s no need for us to be fancy when we are just here to do a job in our own town.
