Sinha Maternity Clinic

If you go to Benta Chowk, you’ll find Sinha Maternity Clinic just to the east of Kamal Phool. It’s a well-known landmark for the people living in this part of town. We’ve been here for several years now, focusing on women who are expecting or have just had their babies. The clinic is a small, family-run kind of place. It’s not like those big, cold hospitals in the city center. We have a few delivery rooms and a place for checkups. The walls are a bit plain, and we have some basic furniture in the waiting area that has been around since we opened. Being right near Benta Chowk means there is always a lot of noise from the rickshaws and traffic outside, but we don't mind it much anymore. My sister handles a lot of the patient records while I help out with the day-to-day stuff. We see a lot of families from the neighborhood. Some of the kids who were born here are now starting school, which is always funny to see. We don’t have a fancy mission statement or a polished logo. We just show up every day, stay through the night when a baby is coming, and try to be helpful. It’s a lot of long hours and missed sleep, but it’s what we do.
