We are based in Ward No- 5 in Kadirabad, right in the middle of the Sabji Mandi area. It is a very active place to be, especially in the early morning hours when all the vegetables are being brought in and the market is waking up. You can hear the bells from the Durga Mandir nearby, which is a nice way to start the day. Being in the mandi means there is always a lot of mud and noise, but that is just part of the local life here. Our shop is a simple place where we handle our trading business. We have a lot of regulars who come in after they finish their shopping in the market. The air usually smells like fresh produce and incense from the temple. We don't have any polished corporate office; it’s just a room with some sturdy tables, chairs, and our ledgers. We spend a lot of time talking to the other traders and the people who live in Ward 5. It is a tight-knit community where everyone knows what is going on with everyone else. Sometimes the crowd from the Durga Mandir spills over near our door during festivals, and the whole street gets very colorful and loud. We just keep our heads down and do our work, making sure the orders are processed and the customers are taken care of. It is a busy, honest way to make a living in Kadirabad.
