Satyam Rice Mill

Satyam Rice Mill sits right on the Main Road in Lehriya Sarai, which is part of District Darbhanga. We are not too far from Bahadurpur, so there is always people moving back and forth on the road. The mill has been part of this neighborhood for years. It is a noisy place, especially when the big hullers are going. We mostly deal with whatever the local farmers bring us from their fields. The building itself is older and has seen better days, but the equipment inside still does what it needs to. We have a small crew of guys who have been with us forever. They know the machines better than I do. During the day, it is a lot of lifting and moving heavy bags around. We get a lot of dust on our clothes, and by the end of the shift, everyone is ready to go home. It is not a glamorous business, but it is what we know. The main entrance is easy to find if you are coming from the Bahadurpur side. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room, you just walk in and find someone. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait around, which is frustrating, but that is just how it goes here. We take things as they come and try not to stress too much about the small stuff.
