Pont Levis Public School

Up here in Madhubani, things move a bit slower. Our school, Pont Levis Public School, is located at Bidya Nagar in Khutauna. To get here, you usually go through Malin Belha. It’s a rural area, and the roads can be a bit bumpy depending on the season. We have a lot of kids from the nearby villages who come here. The school building is simple, just concrete and bricks. We don't have fancy decorations on the walls, just the stuff the students make in class. It gets quite dusty during the dry months, so there is always someone sweeping the floors. We have a small playground area, though it’s mostly just dirt and some grass. The teachers here work hard because they know the families in the area. We don't have many fancy gadgets or high-tech setups. We use chalkboards and notebooks. It works fine for us. Sometimes the mail takes a while to reach us out here, but we are used to that. During the festivals, the attendance drops a bit because everyone is busy at home, but we just keep the doors open anyway. It’s a very honest way to live. We provide a place for the local kids to spend their day and learn something. There isn't much else to say about it, really. It’s just our school in the village and we are content with that.
