Mahto Health Care

Mahto Health Care is located in the Rudal Ganj area of Darbhanga, specifically near K.S. College. It’s a lively part of town because of all the students walking around. Being near Ganga Sagar means we get to see the water and the trees, which is a bit nicer than being stuck in a completely paved area. The clinic itself is quite simple. We have a small waiting room with some magazines that are probably a few months old. It’s a local place, so the atmosphere is very informal. People from the college often drop by, along with families who live in the nearby lanes. The building isn't brand new, and you can see a few cracks in the plaster here and there, but it’s sturdy. We don't have a big team of people in fancy uniforms. It’s just a few of us who have been here for a while. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to rely on the inverter, which hums in the corner. We don't use any complicated medical jargon when talking to people. We just tell them what they need to know in plain language. It's the kind of place where you don't feel like you're in a big, cold institution. It's just a neighborhood clinic in Darbhanga. We do what we can with the space we have and keep things moving. There is always a lot going on.
