Kumar Cement

Kumar Cement is based in Baghouni Village, which falls under the Baheri Post Office in the Baheri Block. We are in a rural part of the district, right near the local bus stand. This makes it easy for people to find us when they get off the bus. We mostly deal with cement and related building materials. In a village like Baghouni, everyone knows everyone else. We started this store to help people build their homes without having to go too far for materials. The shop is a simple structure, mostly just a sturdy place to keep the cement bags safe from the moisture. We spend a lot of time talking to neighbors who are planning to add a room or fix a roof. It’s not a fast-paced business, but it’s steady. We keep track of everything in our big books. The bus stand nearby brings some life to the area, especially in the mornings and evenings. We usually open early because that is when people like to get their work started before it gets too hot. We don't have any fancy displays. Just stacks of bags and a place for people to sit and talk about what they need. We are just a part of the village life here. The cows often wander past our front door, and it is just a normal day for us.
