Gulistan Garments

My family has been working here in Mohallah Faizullah Khan for quite a while now. We run Gulistan Garments. It’s just a small place, nothing fancy. We spend most of our days dealing with clothes and getting things ready for customers who come by. The neighborhood knows us pretty well because we’ve been on this street for years. Usually, it's just a couple of us handling the sewing and the orders. Sometimes the shop gets a bit messy with fabric scraps everywhere, but that’s just how it goes when you’re busy. We don’t really do big advertisements or anything like that. People just find us or hear about us from their neighbors. It’s a quiet life mostly. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the work right in front of us. If you walk down the lane, you’ll see our sign. It isn't very big. We open early in the morning and stay until the sun goes down. There’s always tea brewing in the back if someone stops for a chat while picking up their clothes. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, just keeping the shop running and making sure the garments are done right. It’s a lot of sitting and stitching, but we like being part of the community here. The building is old and the walls could use some paint, but it's home to us. That is pretty much who we are.
